The Olympic Mascots

Toby went to England for a holiday and bought back an Olympic mascot - he is called Wenlock - we discovered some information about the mascots and how they were designed.

Wenlock is an Olympic games cyclops mascot. He can shoot rainbows out of his hands and he can run on a rainbow wherever he goes. He wears the Olympic rings as friendship bracelets. His eye has a built in camera also a light on his forward head like the black London taxi lights. His head reminds about the three medals.

The gala at school

The Gala 2010,there were lots of people buying,eating,playing and selling.

The remarkable thing was eating several types of food cheaply and Sushi seemed to be popular than others because it sold really fast.

Another attraction was to ride in spining cups,a big , long air slide and the swinging boat,but I didn't ride it because it looked like for little kids.

When I heard a loud voice from Mr.Sumich I realised to buy some Raffle tickets,but they sold out!

So I just watched who won the raffle prizes.

This game is Splat A Rat which I have to hit a rat to the hoop when it comes out from a little and thin tunnel  also it can give a chance to win a draw.

It costs 50 Cents for 3 games and  1$ to play 5 games.

So I hit the rat only once from 5 goes,it was really hard to hit the rat in the hoop,because the hoop was far,the rats dropped down fast.

  

This game was called Fishing for drinks which costs 1$ and I have to hold a fishing rod with a ring . I have to try putting the ring around any drinks and then I can get a drink.

There were Lemmonades, Pineapples, Oranges, Lime and Grape flavours.

It was hard too,but lots of people were cheating to get a drink so I followed them.

The way is to tangle the rope on the stick so that it makes short not to wiggle or spin.

I am expecting the next year gala!!

cooperative games

Tied up in knots made the start of the term interesting. Room 22 played a game called ties that bind games.What happens is you need a partner and two pieces of string, what you need to do next is you need to make a knot so the string can fit on your hand so you don't cheat. The rules in this game are you are not aloud to use scissors, slip your hands out of the string or bite the string with your teeth. The aim of the game is to figure out a way to untangle yourself and your friend.Now when you and your friend have finished and have untangled your self you have just finished the game.And the best way to help you in the game is to use communication and cooperation.

Monopoly

Every lunch time if we are not busy we play monopoly we have about six players Aaliyah, Josh, Kevin, Miss Chesseman, Vikram and Louisa. The cool thing about it is we are going to try to break the world record 2 and a half years. We might not break the record but we will try and to know how to play monopoly propoly we used to play it like this every time we had a auction we would pay as much as we could. We love playing monopoly, 2nd of march we finally brought all the places so we can now buy, sell,build houses and hotels.
