Problem Solving and Teamwork

The challenge:

To rescue SAM from imminent danger! He cannot swim. He is trapped on top of a cup and his lifesaver is trapped underneath. The only thing that can save him is getting the lifesaver over Sam. The challenge is that the pairs cannot touch Sam, they cannot touch the cup, they cannot touch the lifesaver. The only thing they can touch is the two paperclips they have been given.

Global Play Day 2020

Global Play day 2020 - my fourth year of doing this and I LOVE IT!

More varied games, more fun had, more socialising,  more independent play and joy!

Global Play Day 2020 we did ours a day early due to school commitments but it worked a treat!. Children laughing and interacting and being completely unplugged. 

 

One of my favourite days of the year! #GSPD2020

 

This year we had shuffle board [60 years old], Connect 4, snooker, Uno, Jenga, Rubix, Battleships,  Exploding Kittens and more!

Last year my class wanted to do it every term! So we DID!
